PRESENTATION OF THE TREE TR.A.P. PROGRAM TOGETHER WITH VIDEO PROJECTION OF THE "TWIN MOTHERS" PERFORMANCE
WEDNESDAY 3 AUGUST Dimitra Trypani (composer and Lecturer) and Faye Lychnou (text adaptor and Administrator) together with some of the performance's participants will present the video of the performance, which successfully took place at the Ionian Academy in Corfu in April 2016 in collaboration with the Vocal and Orchestral Ensemble of the Department of Music Studies of Ionian University, and will also conduct a post-projection discussion about the performance, the idea behind TREE TR.A.P events in relation to the island's cultural life, and will present this year's program of TREE TR.A.P.

CONCERT SERIES: FIREFLIES – «ΠΥΓΟΛΑΜΠΙΔΕΣ»
A series of three concerts organised by the Friends of Paxos Association featuring talented young musicians on stage.
THURSDAY 28 JULY Concert forclavichord, piano and oboe Sevastianos Motorinos (piano) and Christos Tsogias – Razakov (oboe) present a varied program of 16th to 20th century music gems
The concert will start with a 10’ surprise program of 16th and mid 18th century compositions on a rare and very delicate instrument, the clavichord.
Sean Gough, son of the founder of Paxos Festival is kindly lending his father’s clavichord to the Music Studies Department of the Ionian University, Corfu for educational purposes. So it will be a unique chance for music enthusiasts to listen to the instrument’s delicate sounds on Paxos

This will be the second performance of “La ligne invisible”, commissioned by the Eleonas Festival in Athens, where it premiered in June 2016.
